The
Junior section was formed in the early eighties. The
section caters from the ages 8 - 16 male/female, from raw
beginners to the more experienced angler. There is a
junior meeting held in the club every Tuesday Evening.
Alternative weeks the juniors hold a Tuesday League (measure and return matches) on the other Tuesday the section holds a Social Evening where the novice angler can learn how to make Rigs and learn about Safe fishing and how to look after the environment whilst in the pursuit of angling. The junior section run 2 types of competition:
A Tuesday League, this is generally held every fortnight and is usually measure and return.
12 junior match competitions are held during the year, normally on a Saturday Evening. These competitions count towards the Junior Championship |
